Engine Bay – Right Strut Tower (VIN Stamped in Metal)

• Where to look: Open the hood and go to the right side of the engine bay (right side of the car, as seen from the driver’s seat). Check the top of the strut tower dome / top mount area—the VIN is stamped directly into the metal. You may need to push back or lift the plastic cowling/weather strip to see the full stamping. A VIN sticker is often placed nearby on the same tower.

• Where to look: Open the front door and look at the B-pillar door jamb area, down low near the bottom. You’re looking for a black label with white text showing the VIN plus weight/paint data.
• Access: Low difficulty. Flat surface, high contrast, usually very easy to read.
• Note: Label placement can vary by market/side, so if you don’t see it on the first door jamb you check, inspect the other side.
