  4. Lift the carpet flap to reveal the VIN stamped into the metal.
• Access: Medium difficulty. You must move the seat and lift the carpet flap; it’s low, tight, and usually dark under there.
• Note: On LHD vehicles this is commonly found on the front passenger-side floor area, but if you don’t see it there, check the driver-side front footwell area as well.
