Where is the VIN number in JEEP Compass (MP) [2017-2019]?

This guide shows you exactly where to find the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on the Jeep Compass MP, produced between 2017 and 2019, using the same checks a mechanic does during an ID verification.

Chassis Number Locations

1) Front Floor Under Front Seat (Passenger Side on most LHD)

• Where to look: Under the front passenger seat floor area. Slide the seat all the way back, then locate the pre-cut carpet/floor-mat flap labeled “VIN”. Lift/pry that flap up to reveal a clear plastic window protecting the VIN stamped into the metal chassis.
