Where is the VIN in the Ford Kuga?

This guide shows the VIN number locations for the FORD Kuga III (2020–2022), including the hidden chassis stamp and the quick-check windshield VIN.

Chassis Number Locations

Right-hand rear footwell floor panel (chassis VIN stamp)

• Note: This is the quickest check, but it should match the stamped chassis VIN.

• Access: Moderate—remove the mat, locate the cutout between the seat rail and door sill, then lift the carpet flap. Expect shadows and some dirt in the footwell.

• Where to look: Open the front passenger door (LHD vehicles) and locate the rectangular manufacturer sticker on the right-side B-pillar (the vertical post between the front and rear doors). It contains the VIN plus weight/paint code data.
• Access: Very easy. No tools needed—just open the door. If the sticker is faded, peeling, or scratched, you may need to wipe it gently.
• Note: “Right-hand side” means the vehicle’s right side in the direction of travel (as seen from the rear). On most LHD Kugas this is the passenger side.

2) Stamped VIN on Floor / Chassis (Under Carpet Flap)
