1) B-Pillar (Door Jamb) Label

• Where to look: Open the driver’s front door (LHD). Look on the lower section of the B-pillar for a black vertical sticker showing the VIN plus tire pressures and manufacturing data.
• Access: Easy access with the door open; usually readable unless the label is scratched, faded, or peeling.
• Note: On RHD cars this label may be on the passenger-side B-pillar instead.

• Note (critical): On the C-HR shown, this stamped VIN is on the right-hand side of the vehicle body. On LHD cars that’s commonly the passenger side, but if you don’t find it there, check the driver-side footwell as well.
• Tip: Because it’s shadowed under the seat, turn on lighting and use Flashlight + OCR scanning so you don’t have to contort and copy the stamping by hand.

4) Engine Bay (Firewall/Bulkhead Stamping)

• Where to look: Open the hood and inspect the firewall/cowl area at the rear-center of the engine bay, just below the plastic cowl near the base of the windshield. The VIN is stamped into the metal.
