Engine bay chassis stamp (passenger-side frame rail / apron)

• Where to look: Open the hood and check the passenger-side shock tower / frame rail (fender apron area). The VIN is stamped into the metal, often near the area between the washer-related components and the inner fender rail.
• Access: Moderate—engine bay lighting is poor and the stamping can be obscured by dust/grime or surrounding components. You may need to wipe the metal clean.
• Note: LHD reference: this is on the right side of the engine bay (passenger side).

• Note: This is a “deep inspection” location; the sticker can be damaged by moisture, cargo abrasion, or previous repair work.
