Chassis Number Locations

Front Passenger Floor (Under Seat)

• Where to look: On the floor cross member under the front right seat (commonly passenger side for LHD). Slide the seat all the way back, lift the pre-cut carpet flap, then pry up the small plastic cover stamped “FRAME NO. / VIN” to reveal the VIN stamped into the metal.
• Access: You’ll need to move the seat for room; it’s a dark area and the flap/cover can be stiff to lift fully. Usually clean because it’s protected by the carpet.
